This year we continue working against the backdrop of ongoing wars and a warming planet, with a new administration that is actively hostile toward efforts to address the climate crisis. What do you do when you feel your heart will break against the willful ignorance manifest in global and national politics, and the suffering brought about by the climate crisis and other overwhelming challenges? Does our effort even matter? Can we effectively combat paralysis in ourselves and those around us? Come meet like-minded people, meditate together, and talk about what meaningful engagement can look like. Bring what you need to sit comfortably outside, and any gleanings, resolutions, or struggles that might have arisen during Climate Week*.
Meet at the corner of 20th and Dolores. If it rains, we will update this page to indicate we are meeting at the San Francisco Buddhist Center at 37 Bartlett Street.
* SF Climate Week, April 19 - 27, 2025, is a series of events gathering diverse climate organizations, leaders, & the broader community working at the intersection of climate action & innovation.
