Sangha Nights in May: Connecting through Practice

Register below for any or all Sangha Nights in May. We will send you the link to join Zoom online by 2pm on the day of each class.  (There is a different link for each class.)

Sangha (community) nights are open to anyone interested in connecting through an interest in meditation and buddhist practices. Usually there's a meditation followed by a talk and optional discussion groups.  

May 6: The Meaning of Sangha, with Karunadevi

Why Do We Have a Buddhist Community?  Karunadevi and others will explore this question and our relationship to community.

May 13: Practicing with Uncertainty, with Viveka

May 20: Embracing Aloneness and Interconnectedness, with Pete

This subject has received an enormous amount of attention, and the current situation has made it feel even more important and urgent. Buddhist practice invites us to sit peacefully with aloneness, encourages us to engage wholeheartedly with friendship, and provides a path for the integration of these two aspects of our experience. In keeping with the theme of simplicity we will consider this topc through the simple lens of kindness, curiosity, and the benefit of all beings
