Sangha Nights September to November: Wisdom
Practicing Dharma and Meditation in Community, Wednesdays, 7pm to 9pm, in person
Prajna Paramita – the Perfection of Wisdom
True wisdom is always compassionate. It is not cold or detached but arises from a heart that deeply understands the interconnectedness of all life. ~ Sangharakshita
Join Prasadachitta and others any or every Wednesday, September through October to explore the healing power of the final Paramita in our series Hearts that Heal. This is the perfection of Wisdom or Insight—the deep understanding that all things are interconnected and ever-changing. Rather than just intellectual knowledge, it’s a lived wisdom that helps us meet experience with clarity, compassion, and freedom. Through meditation, reflection, and ethical living, wisdom allows us to see through confusion and touch the truth of how things really are.
In honor or Native American Heritage Month in November we plan to donate anything we receive on Sangha Night to TERA (Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance) in Lake County – a group that Prasadachitta has worked with picking acorns at Dharmadhara and the nearby community. Their mission is to cultivate land stewardship, livelihood, and leadership skills that weave collaborative relationships between Tribal members and the community at large, for the benefit of all lands and beings.
Donations
If you’d like to donate separately to TERA you can do so any time through the usual methods – just put “TERA” on your donation. Thank you!
