Sangha Night

Sangha Nights in October

Earlier this year we explored the four reminders, important dharma teachings that remind us of the liberating potential of acknowledging impermanence. the preciousness of life, and the inevitability of death. This month we will go deeper into these important subjects, leading up to Day of the Dead in November.

Oct 5, 12, 19 and 26: Helen and Dayamudra will lead us in an exploration that is both practical and dharmic.

Sangha Nights in November and December

DEEPENING PRACTICE THROUGH RITUAL, IN BUDDHISM AND IN LIFE (AND DEATH)

Wednesdays in November and December, 7pm to 8:30pm.

In November and December we will look at the role of Ritual for deepening practice, in Buddhist Practices and in our lives in general.  November begins with a celebration of Day of the Dead, and includes a Sangha Festival and a recollection of indigenous peoples, aka Thanksgiving.  In December we will explore the meaning of Puja.
