Buddhist Meditation 4: Mindfulness in Motion

Buddhist Meditation 4: Mindfulness in Motion

In Person on Tuesdays, October 28 to November 18, 7pm to 8:30pm

This four-week course brings the deep wisdom of the body into the heart of meditation practice.

By combining mindful movement and sitting meditation, we create a balanced and sustainable foundation for regular practice.

We’ll explore Mindfulness of Breathing, Metta Bhavana (the cultivation of loving-kindness), and Embodied Awareness through sitting and walking meditation alongside mindful movement. These practices nurture a calm and open heart and mind, and offer a grounded, embodied sense of connection with ourselves and the world around us.

All practices can be adapted to suit a wide range of physical abilities. There’s no need to bring anything—just wear loose-fitting clothing so you’re comfortable during both movement and stillness.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to deepen your understanding of these transformative practices, you’re warmly welcome to join us.

This is a friendly, practical, and easy-to-follow course. Ideally, you’ll attend at least three of the four sessions. Each class includes guided practice as well as time for questions and shared reflection in a safe and supportive space.

Registration will open in August
