
Monthly Meditation for Queer Folks
Drop-in Class, third Thursdays, 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Join us for meditation, reflection and discussion.
We’ll offer a brief introduction to meditation for anyone who’s new to it, followed by about 20 minutes of meditation and some relaxed conversation/discussion with prompt questions (for those of us who are bad at small talk 😉).
Suitable for:
This is a space for queer and LGBTQ+ people of all identities and experiences. Whether you are new to meditation or have an established practice, you are welcome.
Practice environment:
Cushions, benches, chairs, and blankets are available. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring layers, as temperatures can vary.
By donation:
By donation at the door or online. Suggested donation: $10–$20, or whatever you can afford. No one turned away for lack of funds.
All donations support the running of the SFBC and help maintain a space for shared practice.
Care:
Please take care of yourself and others. If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of a contagious illness, we ask that you do not attend.
