Join us on zoom Thursday evenings for a brief introduction to meditation and lead through of one of two main practices: Mindfulness of Breathing and Loving Kindness (Metta). This is a friendly, informal class, open to complete beginners and anyone wishing to meditate. It's very good place to get a feel for meditation, meet our teachers and discuss what you might do next.
How to prepare: find a way to sit while meditating that allows you to feel comfortable, stable and alert. A hard-backed chair is good, or cushions if you prefer, and a blanket can be helpful. Here's some more information about posture.
Drop in as often as you like. Suggested donation: $10-5.
