In the Buddhist tradition meditation is part of a whole set of tools that help us to effectively engage with and transform the heart and mind. By looking closely at the ways we interpret ourselves and our experience in the world we learn how to work with perceptions and feelings that can sometimes undermine the benefits of meditation.
Through discussion of practical Buddhist Teachings, along with periods of reflection and meditation, we will clarify and deepen our understanding of exactly what makes our efforts effective, giving us more confidence and inspiration to keep up our practice and make changes we want to make.
Open to complete beginners and anyone wishing to refresh, support and deepen their practice.
This course is one of four courses in our Meditation, Buddhism and Mindfulness series running twice a year.
