Turning Towards Experience
Four Week Going Deeper Course on Tuesdays, Oct 13 to Nov 3, 2026, 7pm to 9pm
Practices for meeting life with awareness, kindness, and curiosity.
Buddhism teaches that much of our suffering comes from the way we react to our experience. We push away what we don’t like, cling to what we do like, and often overlook much of what is actually happening. These habits are deeply human, but they can leave us feeling stuck.
The good news is that we can learn a different way of relating to our experience. By cultivating awareness, kindness, and curiosity, we can learn to stay in the gap between experience and reactivity long enough for a more creative response to emerge.
This course explores practical ways of doing this through sitting meditation, mindful movement, and Focusing, a gentle practice of bringing awareness and kindness to our inner experience.

People who have taken one of our Introductory Meditation Courses or equivalent. Ideally, participants will be able to attend at least three of the four classes.
