Ongoing Weekly ClassesWe offer these ongoing regular classes for those with a meditation practice: Sangha Night :: Sangha Night Level 2 Courses :: Morning Meditation Wednesday Sangha NightWeekly on Wednesdays, 7:00pm - 9:00pm (doors open 6:45pm) Sangha Night is a weekly class open to all that provides regular support for those interested in Buddhist practice. Sangha is the Buddhist word for spiritual community. Each week begins with a meditation and is followed in the second half of the evening by a talk or other program. Meditators of all experience levels are also welcome to drop-in for just the meditation at 7:00pm. If you are new to Sangha Night or have questions please arrive at 6:45 for a brief orientation. [no class in January] For current program see the calendar - Ongoing Classes/Sangha Night Sangha Night Level 2 CoursesWeekly on Wednesdays, 7:00pm - 9:00pm (doors open 6:45pm) Four times per year we offer special Continuation or Level 2 Courses at Sangha Night which are open to those who have taken our 6-week introductory courses or had similar training. These courses meet in a consistent weekly group led by the instructor for some part of the evening, offer supplemental reading, and sometimes an optional personal meditation review. You are always welcome to drop in at Sangha night whether or not you are taking the current course being offered. For current program of Level 2 courses see the calendar - Ongoing Classes/Sangha Night Weekday Morning MeditationUnguided Meditation (No instruction) Group sits open to anyone with a meditation practice. Doors open at 7:25 for a 40-minute sit starting with chanting the Refuges and Precepts at 7:30am. (For more information, see What are Buddhist ethics?)
