Sangha Night :: Second Saturdays :: Morning Meditation

Wednesday Sangha Night

Weekly on Wednesdays, 6:45 - 9:00pm
Suggested donation: $10-$5/class*

Sangha Night is a weekly class open to all that provides regular support for those interested in Buddhist practice. Sangha is the Buddhist word for spiritual community. Each week begins with a meditation and is followed in the second half of the evening by a talk or other program. Meditators of all experience levels are also welcome to drop-in for just the meditation at 7:00pm.

Second Saturday Sangha Mornings

2nd Saturday of each month, 9:30-11:30am

9:30-10:30 Yoga
10:35 Meditation (40 min.)
11:15 Short Dharma Talk
11:30 Option to stay and ask questions
11:45 End

This is a community drop-in that offers a chance to enjoy meditation and a dharma teaching during the more relaxed weekend time. Open to all. Please join us!

Weekday Morning Meditation

Unguided Meditation (No instruction)
Weekday mornings 7:30am-8:15am (except holidays)

Group sits open to anyone with a meditation practice. Doors open at 7:25 for a 40-minute sit starting with chanting the Refuges and Precepts at 7:30am. (For more information, see What are Buddhist ethics?) If you arrive late and the door is locked please do not interrupt the meditation - come back next time! By donation*.

The Bay Area Friends of the Western Buddhist Order (FWBO) is a nonprofit organization that runs on donations and the support of those attending its events and classes.
