Meditation

Meditation is a direct method of working with the mind and body which helps us to relax and enjoy life. Through the regular practice of meditation we can become increasingly self-aware and develop our capacity for compassionate action. The center offers both drop-in classes and comprehensive courses in meditation. We also have ongoing classes for regular meditators. Our instructors are all experienced meditators with many years of teaching experience. We offer a 6-week meditation course and a drop-in meditation class.

In 1996 one of our teachers, Paramananda, published a practical guide to meditation called Change Your Mind (or from Barnes and Noble under the name, A Practical Guide to Buddhist Meditation.) His latest book is called A Deeper Beauty. (Update: Paramananda has now moved back to London!)
